Boeing Whistleblower Warns Of Safety Concerns
Former quality auditor at Boeing supplier Spirit AeroSystems goes public

An aviation worker who went public with safety concerns has accused a Boeing supplier of ignoring defects in the production of the 737 MAX.
Joshua Dean, a former quality auditor at Spirit AeroSystems, said he raised concerns about the way the company was inspecting and approving parts for the plane.
In an interview with the BBC, Mr Dean said he was "repeatedly instructed to falsify inspection records" and that he "witnessed widespread quality control failures" at the factory.
Spirit AeroSystems has denied the allegations, saying that it "takes quality and safety very seriously" and that it has "a robust quality control system in place."
Boeing have also said they are "confident in the safety of the 737 MAX" and have said it has conducted "a comprehensive safety review.".
The 737 MAX has been involved in two fatal crashes, one in Indonesia in 2018 and one in Ethiopia in 2019, which killed a total of 346 people.
The crashes led to the global grounding of the 737 MAX and have raised questions about Boeing's safety culture.
Mr Dean's allegations are likely to add to the pressure on Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems, as well as raising further questions about the safety of the 737 MAX.
